What is your favorite IIDA event and why?
The Design Excellence Awards. It is so great to see the whole A&D community come together for one night to celebrate the amazing design coming out of the state of Oregon. Whether or not an Ankrom Moisan project wins, we always come away feeling inspired by the industry.

What value do you see in being an IIDA Oregon Chapter Annual Sponsor?
Being able to support the IIDA Oregon Chapter as an Annual Sponsor is important to Ankrom Moisan because our sponsorship goes directly towards all the quality events and programming put on by the chapter. We know that without our support the Chapter would not be able to provide our community with a wide variety of offerings that they currently do.

As the face of the interior design profession for the state of Oregon, IIDA Oregon serves the design community through its variety of programming and events. IIDA Oregon Chapter programs help to foster development, while their events help to create a sense of connection and community within and outside the profession.

What gets you excited about design?
Having a positive impact on people’s lives.
At Ankrom Moisan, we’re driven by the goal to design places where people and communities thrive. It’s so exciting to see how thi purpose manifests in such a variety of ways, across our teams.
Some of our teams are very focused on sustainability and biophilia right now. For instance, we’re working on innovative Living Building projects, creating new models for healthier senior living.
Other teams are driving positive impact through trauma-informed design approaches, raising the bar for healthcare and affordable housing spaces.
