The IIDA Oregon Chapter Board of Directors carries out the mission of the Chapter and the International Association of advancing Interior Design in Oregon and beyond. Our Board is comprised of 37 elected* and appointed positions that fill the following areas of focus: Advocacy, Communications, Finance, Forums and Education Leadership, Membership, Sponsorship, Student Affairs. Elected positions include the President-Elect (who serves a 3 year term) and all VP Positions (who serve 2 year terms).
In March of each year, a Nominating Committee that is chaired by the Chapter Immediate Past President and is comprised of the Chapter President, President Elect, and Vice Presidents, is convened to solicit interest in open board positions and to put forth a single slate of candidates for election by Professional Members for the coming Board Year. At this time, they also appoint persons to Chair positions. The Board Year transitions on July 1st of each year and it is at this date that new positions and terms are instated. The Incoming Board is also introduced every July at the Annual Chapter Meeting to Chapter Membership.

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, or know someone who would be a great addition to the Board, please let us know by filling out one of the below forms. Oregon Chapter Bylaws require that candidates for elected positions must be Professional Members in good standing, with the exception that (1) candidate can be an Industry Member and (1) candidate can be an Associate Member.
