The Hacker interiors group is looking for a highly organized studio manager. The ideal person prides themselves on attention to detail and effective communication, and an enthusiasm for project management in design and architecture. The primary responsibility is to serve as a studio manager for the interior designers while supporting the studio director’s role. This would include ensuring our project deadlines are on track with the various designers; forecasting and coordinating future staffing needs; reviewing and monitoring billable staff hours; developing fees/writing fee proposals; contract writing; scheduling/calendar management; and assisting designers with library and materials management. Skill set would include professional email and phone etiquette, ability to write, specific experience in project management; and the ability to work independently and manage time well. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Deltek ideal but not required. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
