About Us
The Hacker interiors studio represents a new and integral part of design services at Hacker. We are equally devoted to the deep curiosity, investigation, and listening that’s inherent to our architectural process. We think holistically about design, imagining the human experience of an interior by beginning first with the site and surrounding landscape; understanding the sense of place, light and views. We seek to create something unexpected for users of our spaces. We anticipate intimate moments such as the feeling of warmth from a beautifully crafted wooden handle, or hearing the sound of footfall on concrete or stone.

Our interior designers are at the table on day one to seamlessly blend perspectives and contributions of both inside and outside of design. We are a strong group of designers, intentionally diverse in our talents, education, and backgrounds.

Renowned for our design of public buildings and urban spaces, Hacker’s project types also include mixed use, multifamily housing, and commercial office buildings. A studio of 50 members, we have received numerous national, regional and local design awards. The interiors group won awards this year from both IIDA and AIA regional awards. Hacker received recent national recognition for excellence in sustainable design and for our collaborations with the construction industry.

Hacker is an equal opportunity employer.  We champion social equity and mentorship.
